Welcome to Our Beautiful Days. I’m so thrilled to have you here! Since I’ve got your attention for at least a minute on the ever so expansive internetz, let me introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Disha. I’m 24 years old (but going on 5 or 50, depending on when you meet me) and happy to call good ol’ Gurgaon, India my home. I was born in Kuwait, which my Mother loves to base my fascination with the Middle East on, and then continued to spend my years in Moscow, Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale (Florida), Gurgaon and London. No, my family has no connection to diplomacy or foreign affairs. They just get bored fast. Nothing like a new continent to refresh the zest for life, am I right?
I’m a Social Anthropology and Politics grad from School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Somehow I’ve found myself in the wondrous world of advertising, since then. Back story: two years ago I had no idea what digital marketing was, let alone that it was a job profile. Today I’m working along creatives and crazies at the 10/10 Wieden + Kennedy in New Delhi.
I’ve had a blog for years and years, but my innate dispositions to lack of time management and self-motivation have often rendered my blogging attempts futile. When I’m in action, you can expect posts from my travels, new food + drank discoveries and anything else that has caught my fancy – current obsessions include trying out vegan recipes from Pinterest and sharing wholesome memes on Facebook.
Thanks for dropping by. Stick around, read some stuff, say hi. Sending love in the meantime! x
